Job Title: General Manager - IT.

Qualification: MS/ BS in computer science or information systems.

Experience: 10 years.

Job Description:

Our Client is looking GM - IT who has prior management experience in Financial Sector (Bank, Brokerage House etc.) This is a very senior position where candidate will be:

Overall responsible for setup, recruitment and running the local office in Karachi .

  1. The candidate must have minimum 10 years experience managing a team of IT people.

  2. Candidate must have both technical and managerial skills together with good interpersonal and communication skills.

  3. Overall project management and scheduling of resources in coordination with central project management office in Dubai.
    GM will be the main point of contact for all business units of Our Client on deployment and production support issues.

  4. Recruit skilled resources, build and motivate them to get the best performance. Candidate will be responsible for overall performance of the resource center in Karachi

  5. Provide a friendly and pleasant working environment for the deployment team based at Karachi office.

  6. Overall finance and administration responsibility including filing of all required statutory filings, audited accounts, taxation and other relevant documents. Preparation of budgets and managing working capital requirements by regularly submitting expense reimbursements with required supporting documentation. Being responsible for expense level and prudent financial control of the development center and work with a pre approved budget by the board.

  7. Be willing to travel overseas for medium term assignments extensively.

  8. Be go getters with a never say die attitude.

  9. Excellent communication skills.
